Minimum Qualifications:
6 years of experience with OBIEE reporting solutions and advanced knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, relational databases, and complex data warehouses.
Tasks: Develop standardized enterprise dashboards to meet the needs of project stakeholders and business owners ranging from executive management, team members, and multiple business units across the District. Create mock-ups of reporting solutions, scorecards, dashboards, etc. to provide visualizations for end users.
Apply advanced modeling, data mining, machine learning, and/or statistical techniques to data and dashboards to generate actionable insights enabling informed decision-making for optimized business and operational performance. Work with IT administrators, developers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders across multiple business units to systematically plan the launch of new and/or enhanced dashboards. Prepare launch collateral/documentation and work closely with users during UAT, production release, and postproduction phases. Create and support proactive processes to monitor dashboard availability, performance, and secure usage across production and non-production environments.
Highly Desired Knowledge and Skills:
The proposed candidate should have a proven track record in multiple IT areas including database development, complex data warehousing concepts, mid-tier development & cloud services. Additionally, the candidate should have significant experience with normalization and denormalization techniques, be able to read and interpret physical data models and have knowledge of query performance tuning for complex reporting solutions. A candidate with knowledge of K-12 data systems and data warehousing is preferred.
