The Department’s Financial Accounting System can comply with the Los Angeles County Auditor-Controller accounting principles and regulations.
The Solution
WATI worked with the Information Technology Division’s Application Development team in creating an Oracle Custom Application to develop the DPSS. Encumbrance Disbursement Tracking Application. WATI further configured the custom application to meet the Departmental business requirements. The team designed and defined extension to Oracle E-Business Suite and tested the new web application utilizing the existing Oracle database framework to extend the functionality of the existing applications. Provide training to lTD staff in the maintenance and support of the custom application. WATI developed and maintained operational and system level documentation and mentored other team developers in adhering to coding standard and development methodology.
Results
WATI was able to optimize the complex financial system processes using Oracle E-Business Suite and improving the overall productivity of the department.
